Ｃａｍｐｉｎｇ

このページでは、僕が書いたキャンプの感想文を載せています。
英語で書いてありますが、簡単な文なので和訳はいらないかな？

I went camping at WANAKITA between October 15th to 17th.
It took about two and half hours form OISE to WANAKITA by bus.
Before I got on the bus, I looked forward to visiting there.
When I arrived there, the weather was very bad.
I was a little sad.
I hoped the weather would be fine the next day.

On the first day, I went hiking.
Parson at the YMCA camp guided us to some places and some activities.
She is very funny and kind.

After dinner, we had a dancing party.
Many people enjoyed dancing.
And then we sang songs in front of fireplace.
We sang a lot of camping songs while Michael played the guitar.
He is a good guitarist.
After that, we went night hiking.
Some of my friends were scared to do it.
There was no light and no way.
But I could enjoy the night view and night air.
Lake Koshlong was especially very beautiful and mysterious at night.

The following day, the weather was not good.
But it was better than the first day.
So I enjoyed some activities.
At first, I chose archery and canoeing.
But I couldn't do archery.
I and some friends were late to go to the archery park.
Ennis said to us, "I know how to go there."
So we followed after him.
But we lost our way.
At last, we couldn't do it...
That was too bad.

The next activity was canoeing.
The day had a strong wind.
So some people fell in the lake.
We were careful not to fall.
While canoeing, I saw some friends fall in the lake.
Of course I didn't.
Yeah!! Ooh, it must have been so cold!

After lanch, I chose canoeing again and rock climbing.
Canoeing was easy for me.
I went twice on that day.
I knew the day's condition about the lake, so I was not scared.
But my friends were scared to do it.
The wind was so strong and cold.
We could go to the opposite side of the lake, but my friends opposed to do it.
So I abandoned that idea.

After canoeing, we went rock climbing.
There are two courses.
One course is easy to arrive to the top, but the other one is difficult to do it.
Of course I chose the difficult one.
It was my first time to do it.
But I could arrive to the top.
It was a good experience for me.
I want to try it again.

After dinner, we had a party.
Some people did events they thought of by themselves.
Some of the Chinese students did a fashion show, Ennis and some friends did a funny play.
My friend, Melody danced with Sandy's piano, Makoto and Yuta sang a song with Yuta's guitar, and so on.

After the show, we went to the camp fire.
There were many stars in the sky.
We sang songs and did some activities.
Suddenly, it began to rain.
We hurried back to the dining room.
Even though the weather was bad, we have many good camping memories.
I had a wonderful time.

On the last day, the weather was too bad.
Some people gave up to do activities.
I chose boat touring.
During the boat tour, it was so cold.
It was raining and a strong , cold wind was blowing.
But I was excited.
The boat always rocked up and down, and back and forth with the waves.
Of course no one fell in the lake.
Very lucky!!
We really enjoyed boat touring.
There are some islands on the lake.

The last activity was the polar bear experience.
Of course I tried to do it.
Before I went into the lake, I was so cold.
When I went into the lake, I didn't feel cold.
Some people tried that.
So crazy!!
HaHa!! But I can't experience it in Japan.

On the bus going home, I was so tired, so I slept.
Between these days, I had a great experience.
I was impressed by Canadian nature.
If I have a chance to come to Canada again, I will in a second!!
